Top 7 things to know about the Motorola Moto X Force/Droid Turbo 2
After buying Motorola, Lenovo launched the successor of the Droid Turbo, which is the new Droid Turbo 2 aka Moto X-Force, the new flagship device from Lenovo happens to be the world’s first smartphone to feature a shatter proof display. Yesterday the device was launched in India, and Motorola India is offering 4 years of warranty on the Moto X-Force. The device will come in two variants; the lower 32 GB variant will cost Rs 49K, whereas the 64 GB variant will cost Rs 53K, so if you are interested in this device, then please read this post, as we are going to mention the top 7 things which you must know about the Moto X-Force.
So, here are top 7 things which you might wanna know about the Motorola Moto X-Force/Droid Turbo 2-
1.Shatter Proof Display
Well the Moto X-Force has created to history, and the reason behind is its shatterproof display, it basically have five layers, which includes dual touch panel, an exterior protective lens layer, an aluminum chassis layer, these layers basically helps in absorbing shock to protect the display from breaking or getting any kind of damage. But don’t take it for granted, It really helps in conditions where the device accidently falls from your hand, but if you do it intentionally all the time, then you may wind up damaging the body of the device.
Motorola devices don’t have the reputation for having the best cameras, however, with time they have managed to improve the set of cameras on their devices, so the pair of cameras in the Moto X-Force captures some really good images. Along with the rear, the front also gets a flash, which really helps you in taking selfies in low-light conditions. Another good thing about the rear camera is that, regardless of not having OIS, it manages to record very stable 4K videos, which is outstanding.
The Droid Turbo had an amazing battery life, and you can expect the same from the new Moto X-Force/Droid Turbo 2, the 3760 mAh non-removable battery can easily give usage up to 30-35 hours, and in case if you are a normal user then you can easily get usage of around 45-47 hours, which is very impressive.Apart from having support for a fast charger, it also comes with wireless charging support.
Under the hood, the Moto X-Force gets a Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor bundled with 3 GB of RAM and an Adreno 430 GPU, which makes the device capable enough to handle heavy multi-tasking and gaming. And without a doubt, it is one of the fastest device, when it comes to multi-tasking.
The Moto X-Force comes with Motorola Droid fast charger, which can charge the huge 3760 mAh battery from 0-100 % within one hour.
This is another setback, Motorola has removed the dual speaker, and just used a single speaker, even though it’s loud, but it doesn’t manage to live up to the expectation.
Well, this is very unfortunate and shocking for a Moto device, despite being launched in last November, the device still runs on Android v5.1.1(Lollipop), although, the device will receive the Android v6.0(Marshmallow) update, but there is no confirmation on any further update.
