Motorola recently launched a new edition of its flagship device Moto X, the company has been calling the device as the Moto X Play.It has been priced at Rs 18,499 & Rs 19,999 and is available in India via online store Flipkart.

Motorola devices usually don’t have the reputation of having a good camera but all that is the past,the Moto X Play is equipped with a 21 MP primary camera and 5 MP front-facing camera,both the camera takes very good quality pictures with good amount of sharpness, clarity, detailing, especially the rear camera which is getting assisted by a dual-tone LED flash produces good quality images even in artificial light.Considering the Moto G3’s camera, the camera performance of the Moto X Play seems a lot better.

The new Moto X Play does come with USB OTG support but you won’t be able to use it, as the device doesn’t have a pre-installed explorer app, so before your plug in your OTG pen drive, you have to download a third-party app from the Play Store.

The device is having a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor which tends to have a heating issue, but to a surprise, it doesn’t exhibit any heating issues even when try to play games or do heavy multitasking for a long period of time.
#6.Decent gaming performance
Although it’s a high-end device, the gaming performance is not that good, you will able to play most of the games without any kind of issues, but when you play heavy games you will see some frame drops.So, if you are a heavy gamer then the Moto X Play is not for you.
#7.Apps are not movable
Even though the Moto X has a microSD slot which can be expanded up to 128GB, you won’t be able to move apps to the microSD card. Therefore, if you use a wide range of apps then please go for the 32 GB variant.
