Top 7 things to know about the Lenovo Vibe P1
After having success with the Vibe P70, Lenovo, last year launched a new device in the mid-range segment, the Vibe P1, the device comes with a much bigger 5000 mAh battery, Lenovo has priced the Vibe P1 around Rs16K and is available in India via Flipkart. The Vibe P1 will be going against the OnePlus X, Moto X Play, Galaxy J7, etc. Other than the massive 5000 mAh battery, the device also packs a fingerprint sensor, a metallic body, 32 GB of internal memory, a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor. So, in this post; we are going to tell you the top 7 things which you should know about the Lenovo Vibe P1.
So, here are the 7 things which you must know about the Lenovo Vibe P1-
The Vibe P1 comes with an improved Vibe UI, with the new UI you’ll get a menu button so you don’t have to keep your apps on the home screen anymore, basically the new Vibe UI gives a stock android experience, without offering much customization, but the good thing is it enhances the performance of the device.
The battery is the highlighting part of the Lenovo Vibe P1, the massive 5000 mAh does give you a good backup, for any moderate user the device will easily last for 2 days, you’ll also get a rocket charger for the device, which charges the device in less than 2 hours.
3.No heating issues
The Snapdragon 615 chipset has the reputation of exhibiting issues but surprisingly, the Vibe P1 doesn’t exhibit any such kind of heating issues, the device heats up to a maximum temperature of around of 41-43 degree celsius.
When it comes to gaming, the device does a good job, you will be able to play games like Asphalt 8, Frontline Commando 2,etc, without any kind of issues, but if you try to play some heavy games you’ll notice minor frame drops here and there.
The Vibe P1 sports a 13 MP rear facing camera, which is getting assisted by a dual tone LED flash, and at the front there is a 5 MP camera, when it comes to performance, the device does a decent job in outdoor conditions but struggles a lot in indoor conditions, most of the pictures taken in indoor conditions comes out to be noisy.
6.Decent fingerprint sensor
The Vibe P1 also sports a fingerprint sensor placed at the power button, the fingerprint sensor isn’t that fast & accurate, and sometimes takes quite a few second to unlock the device, if we compare it with other smartphones available in this segment, then the Coolpad Note 3 would be a better option.
7.Toggle for Ultra Power Saving
At the top-left of the device, there is toggle button which turns on the Ultra Power Saving mode, which doesn’t make a lot of sense as the button can’t be customized for any other functions.
