Lenovo has become a top player in the budget segment due to their high-end affordable smartphones, last year, the company pushed multiple devices in the budget segment which included the A7000, K3 Note, A6000, A6000 Plus, etc, out of all the devices, the K3 Note gained a lot of success.
Fast forward, yesterday at an event Lenovo finally unveiled the much-awaited successor of the K3 Note, which is the new K4 Note, the K4 Note has been priced around Rs 12K and will be available via Amazon through a flash sale which starts from January 19.
The K4 Note seems to be a perfect competitor to the Moto G(3rd Gen), Micromax Canvas 5, Xiaomi MI4C, etc. Compared to last year’s K3 Note, the new K4 Note has been improved in a lot of aspects. So in this post, we are going to share the top 7 things which you must know about the new Lenovo K4 Note.

The new K4 Note packs a fingerprint sensor placed at the back right below the rear camera, according to Lenovo the fingerprint sensor has been improved compared to the one used in the Lenovo Vibe P1. Lenovo also touted that it will be much accurate and will unlock the device more quickly. Lenovo also confirmed that the fingerprint sensor will also support some gestures.

The device also gets dual front firing speakers, which boast the sound quality of the device, and both the speaker comes with DOLBY ATMOS support; so basically, you are going to enjoy the surround sound quality while playing games, watching movies or even listening to music.
The K4 Note packs an improved MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, which is getting assisted by 3 GB of RAM and a Mali-T720 MP3 GPU, which makes the device capable enough to handle heavy multi-tasking and gaming.
The K4 Note also bundles a bigger 3300 mAh battery, which is not removable. According to sources, the battery will be capable enough to give usage of 1-2 days.
5.No confirmation on any further android update
Out of the box, the device runs on Android v5.1(Lollipop), and on top it runs the Vibe UI, and as we all know the latest version of the Android has been released i.e Android v6.0(Marshmallow), however, Lenovo has not confirmed whether the K4 Note will receive the latest Android v6.0(Marshmallow) update.
6.Bundled VR sets
Lenovo will be selling the K4 Note via Amazon using a flash sale, and in the first few sales Lenovo will also be bundling a VR set with device, which will be priced at Rs 12.5K, the company is calling it as a TheaterMax technology, the VR set converts the normal videos into a theatre like display.
The K4 Note sports the same 5.5-inch screen, having an FHD display, the screen quality is good, the color texts look sharp and crisp, and Lenovo has also put a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 over the display panel to protect the 5.5-inch display.
