Full specs, price and everything you need to know about the 10.or G
India is on its way to become the 2nd largest smartphone market, and in the coming years, it is expected that it will overtake China.
And that has been one of the major reasons behind the influx of several smartphone vendors in the Indian smartphone market. Now let it be the mid-range segment or the high-end flagship segment, every smartphone brand is trying to beat each other.
Now when it comes to the mid-range segment there is no brand which can come close to Xiaomi. Brands like Lenovo, Panasonic, Micromax, etc., have tried to beat the budget king but failed to do so, anyway, now there is another new vendor in the market; 10.or aka Tenor.
The company has launched a couple of smartphones which are exclusively available in India via Amazon. Ever since the company launched their smartphone new G, everyone has been talking about it.
Many consider it to be the Redmi Note 4 ultimate competitor, and the specs of the 10.or G is enough to prove this point, but is the smartphone that good? Well, to know please do read this post, as we are going to mention its full specification, price and everything you need to know about the 10.or G.
Like most of the midrange smartphones, the 10.or G also comes with a metal body. If you look at the design, it will surely remind of another smartphone which was launched a couple of months ago; Lenovo K8 Note.
It kind of seems that the Chinese vendors like to steal or take design queues from other vendor’s product.
As you know, the 10.or G is being called the Redmi Note 4 killer, well the hardware of the device seems to be superior to the hardware of the Redmi Note 4.
Under the hood, the 10.or G comes with a Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor which is clocked at 2.2 GHz, the processor is getting coupled with 3 and 4 GB of RAM, and an Adreno 506 GPU.
For many gaming performance does matter a lot, well the good news is that the 10.or G isn’t going to disappoint you, the Snapdragon 626 and the Adreno 506 GPU does handle almost all the games pretty well, but while playing some heavy games you may notice some frame drops , now this can be avoided if the games are being played in medium graphics settings.
While the Redmi Note 4 runs on Android 7.0, with the 10.or G, you’ll get the latest version of the Android Nougat i.e. 7.1.2. And top of it, the device comes with any custom skin which means the device will get faster updates and security patches.
Furthermore, the device will also be getting the upcoming Android v 8.0 (Oreo) update.
These days a 3000 mAh battery fails to survive a full day of usage so now most of the budget-oriented smartphones are coming with a 4000 mAh smartphone.
Moving on, with the 10.or G also you get a 4000 mAh battery which can easily give you two days of usage.
Now the supplied charger isn’t a fast charger so the device will take 2-3 hours to get fully charged.
The 10.or G is a new company and as of now, they don’t have any kind of customer service center in India. As mentioned, the smartphones are being imported by Amazon, and currently, the customer service is being handled by Servify, their main office is located at Maharashtra.
The 10.or G is not only the Redmi Note 4 Killer but it is also the killer of the Lenovo K8 Note. Like the K8 Note, the 10.or G also features dual speakers, now the sound output isn’t that good but it still quite loud so watching movies and playing games will be great fun.
The 10.or G is available in two variants; the lower variant comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM, which is priced at 10, 999, whereas the higher variant comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM. Considering the fact that the device comes with a hybrid slot so it will be ideal to go with the higher variant.
Last year, we saw the mid-range smartphones coming with fingerprint sensors, fast forward, this year we are witnessing the rise of the dual-camera smartphone.
With the 10.or G, you get a 13 MP + 13 MP dual camera setup and in the front, you get a 16 MP camera with a LED flash.
When it comes to camera quality, the dual camera does indeed take some really good pictures in good lighting conditions but during several instances, the color reproduction doesn’t seem to be that accurate, with being said, pictures taken using the portrait mode does look amazing.
Moving on, the front camera also does take some good photos in broad daylight, and during low-lighting condition, the front flash does come to rescue.
